Recommend PSI for upgrading tires?

    Hey. Wanted to start a tread for anyone (and me) to get the correct PSI once they upgrade their tire size. I’m asking because I went from my stock size 265/60/20 to 275/65/20 (Nitto Recon Grapplers, standard load tires) on my 22 Platinum and I just wanna make sure I’m running the correct psi for these expensive tires. Don’t want to ruin them. What is the recommended psi? Thanks.

    Look up your stock tire size and pressure on an inflation table to find the load rating of the stock tire as spec’d (not the max load, but the specific load at the psi indicated on your door placard). Using the same inflation table, look up your new tire size and scan across the chart util you find the load rating that matches your stock tire (or as close as possible) and that will be your new tire pressure. Load inflation tables can be found here:
