Lately when going slow around a turn and then giving light gas it appears the trans is either slipping or gear searching. Had similar issues with my 17 Tacoma. Do Tundras have the same quirk?

I’ve had my trans seem to stay in lower gears longer when I first start the truck cold and start driving, but once warmed up it shifts normally (this might be the cold temp operation of things though, not sure)

    Is that what you’re experiencing?

Tundras do not have the same issue the tacomas do. Tacoma wants to be in the highest number gear possible at all time for better mpg. ~ unless ECT is activated

seems something else is going on.
