    I was under the impression that some of these fires/possible recall had to do with the halogen headlights catching fire when running both lows + brights at the same time and overheating.

    It's a new recall for the halogen headlight melting when using high beams.

    You are spot on. My daughter located the post on FB for me since im old and baaically like a caveman banging two rocks together on the computer. A bunch of comments confirmed its the halogens. Thanks guys

    That person has 10 lights on their lower bar. I’d be curious to see how that was wired up. Not saying it’s the owners fault, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an electrical fire..

    With that much damage Carvana isn’t going to offer more than $36,000 at best in today’s market.

    Yeah, I'd put money on this being a wiring issue from the owner or who ever did that install.

    There's no sources or anything on that FB post. For all we know, it could've been an arson fire.

    No need to sound the alarms on a "recall" or potential issues from LED/Halogen conversions or changes.
