If you pop out the starter relay and jumper the appropriate terminals, does it turn over?

I would need to look at the EWD to track down what all it passes through to release the circuit. Or read the FSM which is free for download in the 'so you just bought a 1st gen?...' thread to see what diagnostics they tell you to run thru. I'm neck deep in something else at the moment and can't look.

I assume you've checked all fuses next to the battery, including the two MUSB I believe your DC should have, the box window'd fuses etc.? (Again, I can't look)

More details too about the engine itself ... same engine, just rebuilt and reinstalled and now it doesn't start?

If your truck is one of the DC which had immobilizer, or it has a factory alarm or remote start installed at any point, that may be a factor also.

Finally, you tested the battery for CCA (not voltage) correct?

Having just re-read thru your initial thread.... I picked up this 2004 for $550 | Toyota Tundra Forum (tundras.com) and the other 3 related threads, have a few questions in case I missed something.

This is the same 2004 DC you bought for $500 ?

You or someone re-built the engine or you put another re-built engine in ?

The thread started on July 23 with the pic of a main harness 82121-0C021, did you put another harness in after the fire ?
Hello everyone, been a long time since I have been here | Toyota Tundra Forum (tundras.com)

I would start at the main fuse box and check for 12vdc at the red circle and visually check the 140A ALT fuse(red square). If the 140A ALT is blown, steps for removal can be shared(can't pull straight out). Those points are the first place the battery voltage goes to before branching off to other places.

Thank you for the help and the battery CAA is brand new at 750 CAA, once I'm done with my sister's house restoration and if it's not to cold up here in northern Canada I willget back to working on the truck again.Thank you again for the information.
