My son borrowed my truck and didn't tie down his load well enough and it slid into the lower trim piece on the rear window. I was told that the entire window would have to be replaced and that the trim piece is not sold by itself, which doesn't make allot of sense to me. I did scour the internet and could not find one. I was wondering if anyone has removed this piece before. I pried on it a little and it didn't seem to want to separate, but wanted to be cautious before I went any further. If I can get it off I will check the wreckers for a piece or repair and paint the piece I have. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.Back Window.jpg

Unfortunately it is true that the trim piece is not sold separately and given the age I doubt you'd be able to find one at a pick your part. Best chance would be like you said repair and repaint the one you have. Best of luck!
