Seems absurdly silly to me, but based off the 2018 thread replies, I'm the silly one.

I used to in my 2005 DC, but I had it down most of the time anyway..
It was a much newer thing back in those days.
I had a retrax bed cover so no leaves and dirt blew in..

One of the things I miss the most about that truck.
Don't know why Toyota didn't do it with the Gen 2 and 2.5 DCs..:(
I have no use for that crewmax back seat or the shorter bed.

I have my back window open fairly regular. When I don't have it down and a truck is behind me I go out of my way to open it. I don't have issues with dirt and such, I guess the cover has a lot to do with that.

It is satisfying when you see their head shake or wife points... its the little things in this crazy world that make you smile o_O

I do it in my '05 all the time. It's especially fun when I do it in front of a $80K+ douched out F350 driven buy some young rig pig with his girlfriend riding shotgun. You can just see the jealousy meter peg in the red when she laughs and makes a comment that has to go "why does that old, smaller truck do that and your fancy new one doesn't?" :D

I don’t know who needs to hear this but make sure it didn’t rain overnight or there are no precipitation on your roof in the morning before rolling the rear window down and driving off.

I did it on my 2011 tundra, my 2017 tundra, and currently do it on my 2021 sequoia. i see the reactions of people most of the time point and look at each other confused. have had a few ask me about while driving down a city street as well.
    *DISCLAIMER*: I'm pretty immature. :notsure:
