I have 6k miles on my 2023 and have started noticing a rattling sound from the rear window when it's down or partially down. I've checked the bed, everything is secure, took all the stuff out from behind the seat, the only place I can tell is that it's coming from the rear window.

Has anyone else had any rear window issues?

Dealer replaced my rear window regulator under warranty for this.

I experienced this on my 2014, and my 2023 is no different. When the bed is unloaded, it vibrates and rattles a bit.

I have this issue as well. I only noticed the noise when i opened my back window. I took my truck in last week for its first service and relayed this issue, they confirmed the sound is coming from the bed. The dealer said they are coordinating with Toyota. They are sending a regional engineer from Toyota Motor Corp. to look at mine and another customer's truck who has the same issue. The service rep said and they plan on documenting the issue and coming up with a remedy to the problem. I am not sure what the fix will be, but I will update you after the service repair.

    Update!

Please reference the update from Toyota:

The rattle has been reduced with this fix. Time will tell if this is a permanent remedy to the problem.

I still feel like it's the bed rattling. My 2014 Tundra made the same exact noise as my 2023 Tundra with the rear window down.

I recently added a Retrax Pro XR bed cover, and the rattle is now gone. The Retrax either muffles the rattle inside the bed, or the weight of the Retrax stopped the rattle.

Throw something heavy in the bed of your truck (sandbags) and see if the noise goes away.
