    hello does anyone know if the rear view mirror from a trd pro tundra 2018 would function in a 2019 tundra platinum im trying to get a mirror with the compass built in

    Welcome to the forum.
    It would depend on the plug on the mirrors.
    Some have a 12-pin and some have a 14-pin.
    I would unplug yours and compare it to the one you want to purchase.
    But as far as the OEM wiring, that shouldn't be an issue if all you want is the compass, if the plugs are the same.



    According to the wiring diagrams, both year models have the same W8 12 pin.
