I have a question on the rear sway bar. I am wondering what it actually does for the truck if not off roading. I very seldom go off roading in this truck. I do every now and then haul my side by side to the woods but other than that not much else, mainly highway driving. My question is, what does the rear sway bar do and would it be a benefit for my typical use or would I just be wasting my money? Thanks for any info on this.

Worth it! Especially for what you do. The truck is more planted in the turns. It should help the truck feel more stable towing as well. Do it!

HID retrofit headlights from Lightwerkz, Morimoto LED fog lamps from Lightwerkz. JL audio upgrade from Tech12Volts, Powdercoated factory black wheels local, ESP rear storage trays under seat, bed cover by BakFlip, bed liner, console safe, LED light bar by Back Country. Weathertech floor liners and ventshades. TRD rear sway bar. TRD Pro exhaust, TRD Skid plate, Fortin EvoOne Remote start from Anderson Electronics.
I considered it my strongest upgrade. I was able to notice an instant reduction in rear roll, which made me feel like I was being thrown around, and throwing passengers around in the seats less. It's more important for On road then Off road in my opinion, and it's a pretty quick and simple install. They have one for the front as well, but I opted for rear only.

Best dollar for dollar mod I have done.

It's more for on road performance. Better handling in corners.

    Yep!

OP, get a solid bar (not hollow). Strong like ox.

I have an ‘18 TRD Sport with both front and rear TRD sway bars and that pig hugs a turn like nobodies business. I had a ‘16 before that and these sways make the truck handle completely different in a great way.

Are the TRD sway bars solid or are they hollow?

    Do it.

Not an expensive mod and really helps on handling on turns/corners. I remember how impressed I was when taking a 270 turn on an exit ramp right after install. Took it at about 40, barely felt the roll and felt more in control!

When got unto a tight tuning highway on ramp you really feel it working, my neighbour has a tundra with no sway bar and said there was no way he could do those turns at my speed.

I like my red TRD sway bar! My truck is white with black accents. I have TRD center caps with red lettering and the red TRD off-road on the bed. It all ties in. I’m a bit colorblind so the red really stands out to me and I like it. It pops.

    I wouldn't drive a pick-up truck without a rear sway bar.
My 07 has the TRD bar, my '02 has a Hellwig... my T100 also had a Hellwig.

I don't care for the red color, but you would have to be pretty
low and down close to the ground to see the bar on my RCSB.
