Recently purchased a new 2023 Tundra crew max limited with that air suspension , it’s been to the dealer 3 times for the same issue of bottoming out on the bump stops . They supposedly did the adjustment on it , still having the same issue , they say it’s in spec !! Lol ! My bad for purchasing the gen 3 , should have kept my 2013 Tundra double cab . Apparently there’s a lot of people having the same issues and are doing the repair themselves . Pretty sad when a vehicle that has 2500 miles on it gets kicked to the curb by the dealer , must be the new normal post Covid !

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Maybe someone on here can help find a way to deal with that issue. I like the idea of rear coils, but I think Toyota needs to fine tune them some more.

Rear suspension issue resolved .. 2 minutes on a YouTube video & 5 minutes under the truck with a 10 mm wrench .. I do not know what Toyota was thinking with a 1 1/2 - 2 in clearance from bump stop to axle ?? You going to need around 3 inches of clearance to make the real bad bumps & dips in the road go away , dealers will be of no help , nor will be Toyota themselves .. been down that bumpy road 3 times already !! My truck drives and handles the normal bumps as it should now !

I also wanted to mention that right after I took delivery of my Tundra I had loaded approx. 200 lbs into the box, the ride was great & the truck rear suspension did not bottom out. When I removed the load, that is when I noticed the rear suspension bottoming out.
