So I bought some new Bilsteins 5100 for my 2000 tundra to replace to original blue and yellows Bilsteins. but when I went to install the rear ones the mount was to narrow to fit (see picture)

Has anyone has a similar problem? its supposed to fit right in, now im wondering if I bought the wrong ones and which ones I need to buy.

I think you are right. I bought them off eBay advertised as fitting my tundra =( So I guess if any one buys stuff off eBay double check the parts fit because the sellers aren't

There's also a good chance some items on eBay are counterfeit. Worth noting. Buy from a reputable source.

Fortunately, if you bought it within the last 4-6 weeks (sometimes more), you can easily setup a return. Clearly it doesn't fit. eBay is sadly more favoring of their buyers than their sellers. And I'm saying that as a semi-regular seller on there. You're covered.

Be sure to file the return "Not as described" so the seller gets dinged for the fact this WILL NOT fit a Tundra. It's for Seqoia, and when I plugged it in at the Shock Surplus site, it clearly shows it isn't a fit for Tundra.
