Rear shock leaking on 2023 1794

    2023 1794 TRD off-road
    Truck is still under Toyota warranty, seems to be no problem (yet) with that. 30k miles on truck, towed only once and it was well under Toyota limits.

    Should both left and right (rear) be replaced? I suspect the dealer will only want to replace the one that is leaking. thanks for any advice.

    As long as it's the same shock, there is no issue replacing only 1. Most companies will only replace the faulty shock.

    If they can't get the same shock and have to use something else (unlikely) then yes you would want both the be changed.
