I am having two issues with my truck that I’m hoping to find some answers.

First, my search on the radio just doesn’t stop scanning. Even when I go to tune and stop on a local station it is just static. Is this as easy as just replacing the antenna or is there something more that needs to be fixed. The stock antenna is on there now but it is slightly bent backward from the years of wind/car wash I’d assume. If it is that easy, any good short antennas or just go oem?

    Second,
My rear seat is suppose to slide forward and recline. My seats slide forward, but when I pull the lever to recline, there is no tension and nothing happens. Is here a cable or something easy that needs to be replaced or would I need a new seat? Trying to get things in order for a long trip coming up.

I’m gonna say your first issue with the radio is antenna related. Won’t stop scanning and static sound like lack of radio signal. Hopefully just a loose antenna connection at the back of the radio or at the antenna on the fender.
My 2019 rear seats function differently than the the 2007-2013, so I’ll let someone with experience chime in there. I honestly wasn’t aware the seats had either of those functions. I thought the seat back folded down, not reclined.

Yeah the fit did if the reclining on the 3rd gen. I’ll take a look at connections but maybe I should just buy a different antenna and go from there.

Watched a video, appears the recline lever is on top of the seat back near the door opening.

Both sides have no tension and nothing happens. They don’t fold down like they are suppose too. I wonder if that cable is all i need and if it’s an easy swap. Thanks

I replaced my antenna (2007 CM) with a stubby connected to my aftermarket head unit. I think reception is not quite as good, but still decent. I rarely listen to the radio though.
