I am getting a little rubbing on the back corner of the rear mud flap when and full lock, when on a hill.

It seems like there is room behind it to pull it back. Would like to fix without cutting. Once I install the front bumper spacers, I can probably add a little caster and then clear it.

How are you guys dealing with this? Id like to see what clean solutions you all have come up with, so I dont need to reinvent the wheel. Got pics?

That's the top of the mud flap I assume? I took mine off....had to since I have BW flares. You could probably soften and mold it with a heat gun to push it back or flatten it some.

Yeah, that's the top side of the rear mud flap. I would like to retain the mud flaps to keep rocks and mud off the side of the truck. I've heard the heat gun thing a few times, not sure if the material is thermoplastic.

Well, I gave the heat gun method a shot. I think it may have worked just enough. We shall see. If not, I think a couple holes and zip tie to the cab mount may help.

Used a heat gun, 1x3 scrap about 18" long, garden hose.

Applied heat to the fold and general area:

Pressed the flap back, using the tire as a lever, then applied a little more heat to the bulged flap and the hosed it down to cool it off, being careful to not mix water and electricity, lol.

Looks like a little more clearance:
