My mechanic saw some oil below the rear main seal at the back end of my truck, though it is not leaking, but he asked me to observe and get back to him , if I see any leak. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Rear main seal on the engine? Tranny? Diff? The only common known issue with leaks is the cam tower leak, and that is more a seepage than a leak 90% of the time.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. This is a good one to post in “ask a Toyota Mechanic” thread.
