Hey folks. 2019 crewmax. Installed 2 stereo integrity bm 12 mk5 behind back seat. I think my subs are hitting the back of the seat or the lower bar on the seat.

    question is
Did you keep the factory sound deadening mat? Leave it behind your box? keep it and put it over the front of the box?

    It’s a tight fit.

I was thinking about laying it over top the box and cut holes in the deadening mat the size of the subs.

I deadened the back wall with a bunch of deadening material but not sure what others are doing with the thick factory deadening mat.

Ok. Just wasn’t sure if it was a sound deadening Matt that was necessary to keep the truck quiet from road noise.
