Did you end up doing this?

I'm about to upgrade my dashcam setup and had basically ruled out a rear facing cam but I'm now thinking it wouldn't be hard to make or buy a bracket...

Get the short version from the link above and it works perfectly. It's what I used for my rear facing cam on my truck

You can mount it to the glass if it's stationary. My 2020 has the center slider so my cam is mounted on the driver's side window next to the slider. It does not affect the camera field of view enough for you to notice.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) it's the crewmax with the sliding window so I'll need to use the bracket!

I got the long version because my camera has a wire going straight up. The long version will allow for a soft bend....short version would not have worked. Just pull down hard on the weatherstripping and it'll start letting go lil by lil
