    Road salt has ate through rear end casing. Leaking with small drip lubricant from rear plate weld outside edge lower half below filler plug. Have tried JB Weld products. No joy.

    I'd consider having a fabrication shop weld a piece to cover the hole, rather than an epoxy/jb weld.

    1st gen truck? Dorman and Barnes both make weld on replacements.
