    I found these little bits when I changed my rear end lube.2016 4.6 2WD.44,000 miles bought used.no unusual noises from the rear end.Any ideas from the toyota mechanics.

    TRD Pro grille, 2018 LED Headlights, Undercover Flex bed cover, Neoprene seat covers, Bed/tailgate mats, Power tailgate lock, auto headlights, illuminated key switch
    Those are machine turnings, not gear wear particles. That is debris from manufacturing processes, apparently adjudged "harmless" by Toyota. Stays on the bottom until you drain the gear oil

    I kinda figured it was something not worrisome but couldn't be sure.i think I've seen some other posts someplace about this.Thanks.
