I'm helping my dad outfit his 2000 Tundra for some off roading. Has anyone bothered with a rear differential skid plate? I bought one for my 2nd Gen since I was buying stuff from RCI anyway. I've read elsewhere on here that Skid Row is the only manufacturer of armor for the 1sr Gens and I don't see rear diff skids on their site. TIA!

Those are really meant for use where you are dragging the pumpkins often, like rock crawling. They do lower clearance. Unless you run rocks often and are hitting the diff, I would skip it. In dirt and mud they act like shovels and get packed with material.
