I have a leaking Rear Diff housing that needs to be replaced. The 3rd member may not be good anymore due to rust. This is on a 2000 Access Cab SR5, 2wd 3.91 gear ratio.

I have a line on a 2004 ABS diff and 3rd member. Other than my vehicle not having ABS, is this compatible? I have seen that it is, but I want to know what this community has to say.

Thanks for your time in responding.

Yeah it should work. Since it’s 2wd gear ratio is not critical on the new axle but keep in mind 4wd rear axles use slightly different yokes than 2wd axles. Worst case you’ll have to swap the yoke with one off your old axle.
