Since I bought my truck, my rear camera is intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Loose wire or need a new camera?

New? Used? Factory? Aftermarket? When I ran into that problem on my aftermarket camera and head unit I went behind the dash while updating to a newer head unit and found out the installer did the 'strip, twist and tape' method to tie the wiring into what was coming out of the head unit, and a loose connection was moving around behind the dash causing it to go in and out. I threw in a proper T-splice wire connector and haven't had any problems since. Wiring connections are the first place I would start if it still works some of the time.

It's OEM. When I bought the truck used it worked. Now it's intermittent.
