Thank you. Trying to make it stand out. All chrome will be white with the exception of the 1794 logo.

Lane assist operates off of the windshield camera, so that will be ok. The rear bumper has parking sensors that can be fitted and used, but the blind spot monitor/rear cross traffic alert uses 2 radar modules in the rear bumper corners. They will not work with metal bumpers.

That’s what I meant. So just cut it off? Or should I go back to the stock rear bumper?

    Flux capacitor!
If you go with a aftermarket rear metal bumper you will loose the blind spot monitoring. I wouldn’t cut those wires. You can unplug them and keep them attached to the stock bumper. If the blind spot monitoring isn’t a big deal to you then keep your metal bumper.

Only way to make it work is if the shop is up to a fab job to cut the bumpers ( stock and new) to add the piece of plastic into the side of the steel bumper. Not sure if you would want to go to that extents, and if the steel bumper profile would even allow that. You only need the area directly adjacent to the sensor to be plastic so the sensor can "see" through it - steel interfere with that. Only a few inches square.

Paint the stock rear bumper white.

It probably already is white if he has the sensors in them.
