Hello there, I just did my front and rear brakes about 56K KM in..
Fronts I had to fight 1 side and cut out the pad pins..but after getting new pads in hugh difference and seems to be working great.

    Did the rears also,
I used BC1304 Bosch pads, kept mostly the original hardware is is seemed ok..
After changing them I am getting a grinding nose and squeaking..

Pads are on the correct way, ceramic facing the rotors..I had a bit of a hard time getting in the new pads on the insides of the rotors..

I have gone for a few drives with it, and braked hard, and also tried backing up and braking hard..

I put truck back up on stands took rear tire off and when I spin the other wheel I can still here this grinding some times squeaking..rotor did not look like it was a siezed caliper as can turn by had faily easily also I dont see any big scratches appearing on the rotors in the glazed area lol.

I did lube up the tips of pads they go in to the metal hardware and also the hardware..
I had to reuse 1 of the old squealer hardware as they didnt include 2 in the pack..

Appreciate some directions, I am just average user with some basic automotive..

    Thanks

Did you happen to bend the dust plate in the back of the rotors while installing?

no dust plate was fine..I found the issue. When I put in the pads last night I hammered in the hardware a bit to hard lol it was slightly touching the rotors and thats what was causing the noise..so today I removed all the hardware, put in new..(the abatment clips) and lubed it and put pads back in..much better..thanks :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiWkVe3vXys I had to chisel out my drivers side front pins, just like this vid..it was helpful..driver side front I was able to hammer the pad pins back and forth with some PBblaster..to get them moving and then punch them out..was a chore, hardest part I would say..;P
