My Tundra has rear brake lines leaking, dealer had to order “special” brake lines that are on National back order. It has 1200 miles on it, the 3” TRD Pro lift kit. Anybody else having the the same issues? Does National back order mean that it is issue?‍♂️

    Sounds like an instalation issue.
@ryanwgregg can give you a good explanation of the national backorder.

1 post welcome to the forum.

They’re “special” because they’re (likely) extended brake lines because of your lift.

Those were supposed to be in the lift kit, I thought ‍♂️

Crawl under there with your phone and take a few pictures. They probably left a brake fitting loose. Any brake line should last a lifetime - unless it was installed wrong or damaged by a road hazard.

Just got the Grey Ghost outta the shop. She has all new rear brake lines installed. Defect from the factory apparently. Replaced, rebled the brake system and she is good to go.
