Hello everyone, new to the site. I have a 2013 Tundra Crewmax TSS and I’m driving myself crazy about new rims and wheels. My truck is 4x2 and I’ve ordered the southern truck 2 1/2 to 3 leveling kit. I want the TIS 554BM wheels 20x10 with -19mm backspacing. No where I’ve searched has given a definitive answer whether the stock TSS Gunner rims I have are +30 or +50. I want poke but I don’t want it crazy. Will the TIS with 285/55/20 hit on full lock? Also will I still have all the stability I need to pull a 6,000lb travel trailer 3 to 4 times a year?

All the TSS rims I have seen are +50, as are the RW wheels. Stock OR wheels and others are +60

-19 is HUGE poke so expect fitment issues and mods, lose mudflaps, may need plastics trim, bumper spacer and maybe BMC depending on tire size. Dirt will get thrown down the sides of the truck so expects paint nicks and such.

for larger tires with minimal fuss installing, +18 to +25 works well on Tundras.

I would suggest lower offset wheels. If you want some poke, heck you can keep the TSS wheels and just add some spidertrax or bora spacers, they are available in 1 inch, 1.5 and 2 inch.

and this is a great tool for checking different offsets and tire/wheels setups. This will tell you how much poke you will have vs where you are now.

this is -19 offset. Even with those fender flares everything is sticking way out there. You will be about 2.75 inches further out from where you are now with TSS wheels.

Thank you. I really wanted those TIS but I’m new to the mods. Over zealous on my part I guess. I’ll do some more rim shopping for now!

I have the TSS gunner and there are +55.
There is a stamp on the back of the wheel that will tell you for sure.

    A 285/55/20 tire will look a little short with a lift/level.
I have 2.5" front and 1" rear lift on my 2014.

I'm running 275/60/20 on my TSS wheels.
A little taller and a little thinner than the 285/55/20 it came with.
I honestly feel my 2014 drives better with the thinner tire..

The calculator page @frichco228 posted can tell you the difference in the tire sizes as well. upload_2022-12-4_15-45-0.jpg

What would be my best size tire with the level lift, if the 285 will look short.

Will 33x12.5 r20 fit without rub with the level lift?
