6 weeks into my wait for sliders currenty. Hope they are close!

You must have ordered right around the same time as me. I'm at 6 weeks for sliders. Current lead time has jumped to 8 weeks on their site.

 

I got This yesterday. I also have a tank skid on order. I ordered about 7-8 weeks ago.
“Thank you so much for your business and support. We have been fabricating the Crew Max sliders since earlier this week and a bunch are going into powder coating right now. The fuel tank skidplates have been cut out and are being formed as we speak. I would say we are likely another week or two from the order being completed and ready to ship.”

 

Ordered 3/7. The day they "released" them on the site.

 

I was supposedly top of the list for crewmax sliders as of 4/28. Hopefully that means mine are being coated as I type this!

 

Ordered 3/27, but ordered bare steel, they are being shipped directly to my LineX guy.

 

I was hoping that RCI or CBI or the other guys out there would make some full length running boards. Nothing was coming up so I made my own. I think the challenge is going past the cab and finding a place to mount the supports. I wouldn't call these sliders since we used the existing bolt holes for the brackets.

Waiting on RCI to make sliders for the DC.

I’ve also been waiting almost 6 weeks for my skid plate, but that’s not entirely RCI’s fault. FedEx shipped the plate from CO (where RCI is) to their hub in MS only for it to slowly creep back across the country at a snail’s pace. It’s forward progress from MS has been averaging 1 state every 2 days. I’m in NV so this skid plate is going to have a lot of miles on it before it ever gets installed on my truck. Haha.

I can’t wait to see what kind of shape this box is in.

 

I ordered my sliders on 4/16. I just received an email today stating, "Rock sliders have been consistently on an estimated lead time of 8 weeks from the date of purchase."

So who knows! I hope we all get ours soon!

I was told 5-6 weeks over the phone when I ordered mine 10 weeks ago. No shipping confirmation yet. Not a big deal for me, but just a heads up.

 

If they're anything like the RCI sliders I put on our '23 Bronco then they're well worth the wait.

Ours took around 5-6 weeks to arrive, it was right on their estimated time they post on the website..

Well my wait is over... Unfortunately I ordered my sliders prior to RCI discovering their frame plates didn't fit Crewmax 6.5' bed trucks. Glad I happed to be perusing the site yesterday and discovered new fitment notes on the site explicitly stating the sliders I had waited 10 weeks for would not fit my truck despite speaking with them on the phone about it before ordering. I'm pretty bummed but happy they handled the cancellation and refund graciously and apologetically., and happy I caught it before they shipped. Hopefully they make a set in the future that'll fit, they seem like a good company with great products.

 

@korslite, I looked long and hard with CBI and others but eventually, I saw some on a truck and they were not full length. So I made my own. They are not sliders but more like heavy duty running boards that go all the way back to the rear wheel arch. Mostly made in stainless tubing and plates with 5 steel brackets per side. I don't intend on doing any rock crawling so sliders weren't necessary and I didn't want to carry 100 lbs of sliders around. The Crewmax 6.5 bed probably wont get any full length sliders or boards for a long time.

If you ever get up to Vancouver, there could be an extra set to be had!

My set is at the powder coaters as we speak.

 

Thanks, yeah I saw your post on here. I'm not concerned with full length but would like actual sliders. I don't rock crawl my full size truck with camper either but we definitely end up in places at times where the protection for the mile long rocker panels would be appreciated as well as easier access to pop up camper latches and such. I liked the beefier-than-most construction of RCI's sliders considering the loaded nature of our adventures. I ran into similar issues with slider availability years ago when nobody was making decent sliders for double cab long bed Tacomas. I built my own back then and loved them (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/custom-slider-build.167350/). That was before kids and adult responsibilities LOL. Much easier to spend the time learning to bend tube and building my own. For now I'll keep waiting. I'm not super stoked on the options from CBI at the moment, and they are the only ones I've seen that are confirmed to mount to my congfiguration.

 

Anyone get there rci sliders in yet?..been over 10 weeks now

 

It’s been 4 weeks for me, I do have a 5.5 bed tho. Are the frame plates not compatible with just the 6.5s or is it across the board? They haven’t said anything to me yet

 

8 Weeks for me, not a peep.

 

10 weeks too. I was told they’d ship “in a week or two” almost 3 weeks ago.

Ive emailed them a couple of times on ETA for Doublecab sliders and cant seem to get a response from them.

 

Any updates guys? I know I'm at 10 weeks + and some of you ordered before me.

 

I finally got mine in..so looks like they r shipping them as they become available..alittle over 12 weeks for me

 

13 weeks. Mine should be delivered tomorrow.
