    Hi all,

So this is how @RCIoffroad rock sliders look on a dual cab:

I came to pick up skid plates, and this is when Josh agreed to take measurements of my dual cab. In less than 2 days very first pair of the sliders were waiting for me to be installed in the shop:

So much better than factory steps, absolutely love them! Tell me if anyone needs more photos.

PS: Web site still says crew max only, but this should be updated soon.

Do the sliders angle up at all or do they just straight out?

Are they no-drill install? It looks like they added Double Cab to the dropdown on their site. Got any pictures showing the whole truck? Thanks.

If they are the same as the crewmax, then there is an upward angle to them.

Looks straight to me. I'm pretty sure there is no angle.
They are about 95% similar to crew-max, the difference is in mounting plate holes location, and plate and sliders length.

No-drill install is possible. However, you can drill 6 additional holes to make it even more solid (hardware is provided). As far as I understand, as soon as you drill the frame, you loose warranty for it so I went with no-drill. Even so, you can still lift your truck by sliders.

I don't have many pics since the installation trip. Which angles would you like me to post?

if you take your truck on some gnarly trails, you gonna want to drill the frame to bolt on those sliders the proper way imo. When I installed my WKOR sliders I had to drill 10 holes in the frame. PITA but it ain't going anywhere and I can bash on them now.

Thanks for answering. Their website (at least for the CM) says no drill and doesn't mention anything about optional drill holes so I was curious.

The shot with the whole truck is good. Just wanted to see their "lines" in relation to the rest of the truck.

Thanks, the one picture from the back is what I wanted to see.

I know some sliders like WKOR require drilling, which makes them stronger but I also read that every year or 2 you need to remove the bolt and let any water drain from in there. Not sure if that is 100% accurate but that is what I an article stated.

I spray painted all the holes with rustoleum before bolting. I could see water sitting on the frame but imo it should evaporate pretty quick before doing any damages like any other parts of the undercarriage.
road salt will do more damage

Tundra is too big and heavy for serious off roading imo. Tacoma\jeep would be more capable.

Anyway, I really like the sliders. They don't look wide on the picture above, but with the door open it's now much harder to miss the step when leaving the car (factory toyota steps are too narrow - I almost broke my leg once with factory ones as my foot slipped).

I was thinking about getting sliders without top plate, but I'm glad RCI installed it so I had no choice lol. It's now also much easier to get into the truck (as I can put my whole foot onto the slider, parallel to the truck), and plate stops some mud as well.
