    Hello all!

I live in a rainy area, I’ve read some mixed reviews of the Ray10 and SR8 wheels by SCS pool water on the inner lip?

    What’s everyone’s experience with this?

Carry a towel and soak it up..

I also vacuum the water out when I wash my truck.

My RRW wheels did that. It annoyed me quite a bit and was one reason I didn’t keep them. Not everyone will be bothered by it the same though. If you’re thinking about it already, you’ll probably be bothered.

I live in the PNW and notice some pooling in my SR8’s. Doesn’t really bother me but I could see how it would be a factor for some people. I still love the wheels and appreciate how they seem to stay clean longer then other wheels I’ve had

Does it ever rinse out with normal driving or affect the balance of the wheel?

It would take more than a couple droplets of water to throw a tire out of balance.

I guess I mean if it gets full from over night or a storm, would it just fly out from normal driving?

Even with the lip full it won't impact balance because as the wheel spins the water will spread due to centrifugal force. No it doesn't all fly out. It stays until you wipe it up or it evaporates.

I had Ray10s and the water pooling was my only complaint.

The water does not affect driving or balancing at all. It’s maybe a few ounces and gets ejected when driving.

The water never fully comes out of the wheel when driving.

It doesn't get ejected when driving. Had them, and the water stays until you wipe it up or it evaporates.

Leafblower works great for avoiding post wash water spots, and clearing the ray 10 lip reservoir. ;) It doesn’t bother me, but I have noticed the water pooling there.

Mine also goes away when I drive it, I assume it splashes out as the wheel spins.

The bigger issue is over time the water leaves deposits that you cant remove easily. Mine eventually had spots of a white film.

Seems like it would need to sit for extended periods for that to become an issue. Have you heard of that with a daily driver? I’ve only had mine since December.

Mine was my daily. It was getting water spots.

If you don't dry it out every time it gets wet, you will get deposits.

Someone on here told me then had snow in theirs and ice. Caused a terrible vibration issue until they used a heat gun to melt it.
