    Hey all,

I just bought a 2014 Tundra SR5 and at slower speeds (~50mph and under, worse at the slowest speeds) there is a pretty mean rattle/squeak coming from the back. The dealership looked and couldn't find anything, so they suggested it might be the Snug Top. Took it to a canopy place and they said the canopy is fine. They suggested taking out the drop-in liner, which I did, but the sound persists. When I jump up and down on the rear bumper when it's parked, the noise doesn't happen at all. When driving, it happens even on the smallest bumps, such as normal cracks etc that any road would have. It starts once I get a little momentum, maybe 10-20 seconds after I start driving. I also checked all leaf springs and the bushings and spacers are all intact. They aren't even rusty at all. There also is nothing that I can see between the bed and cab.
Any suggestions? This is pretty frustrating and annoying, if you can imagine!

    Thanks!

Did you check the tailgate / tailgate latch?
I have a 2008 Tundra (that’s right 16 years old) and I replaced the latch awhile back but it will squeak from time to time.
Another thing to check is the spare tire- make sure it’s tight
    Just 2 suggestions
    Good luck

Stock suspension? Is it a high pitch squeal or a creaking?

P.O. replaced leaf spring bushings with polyurethane?

My bed squeaked when a small rock got into bed's rigidity support structure at the bottom. Took a while to find it out.

Sit in the bed while it's being driven and see if you can located it better that way.

Make sure the box bolts are tight. It's pretty common on older Tundras and tightening the box bolts seems to solve it.
