I ordered a 2023 Tundra OR with Limited Premium and Limited Power Packages. From what I understand I am stuck with the digital dash gages but I prefer analog gages by far. Is there any option to get the analog gages other that downgrading to a trim level? Are there any fans of the digital view.

Limited only comes with digital dash if its a hybrid iforce max, otherwise you will have analog gauges.

One way to accomplish this is to get a SR5 with all the available OR premium packages. It gets very close to Limited in equipment (and price) but retains the analog display. That is my setup and I love it.

That's what I have and I like it especially since I can switch it to the digital speedometer display. My truck may be an SR5 but it's optioned exactly the way I would have ordered one even cost was not a concern.

Thanks for the I information, I put a deposit on the hybrid iforce max. My 120 day wait should not be considered a long wait compared to the wait times I have read about in here.

I would have agreed totally, except it is impossible to get seat memory with SR5 no matter which packages you add to get the 8-way softex seats. It just makes life a little difficult when sharing a vehicle, even if not very often. These seats just have too many axes of adjustability to get them back exactly where you started. IMO they should simply not be sold w/o the memory feature.

Both of mine tend to forget the memory settings on a regular basis anyway. Either that or I’m just getting fatter so it feels like the seat is in the wrong position.

I have never seen someone who would rather have the analog cluster compared to the TFT display? Not sure why you would rather have the analog gauges.

I think it’s the idea that if the digital cluster goes dark, you have no speedometer or fuel gauge (or trip meter).

I'm old school as well, I like analog gages, with big sweeping needles on every gage.
Never been a fan of digital although I'm forced to get used to it now. My biggest gripe is the fuel gage, I don't like the little blocks of light, give me something a little more accurate than a block of light.

Just imagine what it's going to cost to replace that digital gauge setup when it's out of warranty and fails and you can't see anything. I feel the same way about the electronic wastegates. The new Tacoma uses a vacuum operated wastegate.

which is why I have a 10 year 150-thousand-mile warranty but yeah, I don't know how or when it will ever go out. A iPhone or tablets don't fail that often.

Yeah, but each one has its own input and drive whereas the digital display is subject to a single point failure of the entire display. In any case, all these electronics are pretty darned reliable.

Electronics are the least of my worries with my Tundra. That would instead be engine main bearings.

LOL.. I used to worry about that, but I reinforced mine. And 3D printed a spare.

I’m surprised we can’t change the digital view to look like analog… like my wife’s six year old Grand Cherokee can.

Just traded away a 2023 Sierra SLT in part because the Google-enabled infotainment/gauge displays kept acting up and GMC had no fix for it other than to reset it to factory defaults and hope it didn’t happen again.

I have the digital cluster and like it much better. My son has the analog gauges in his SR5, which he likes better, but I'm not a fan. Looks like the same gauges from the last 20 years in Tundras, Tacomas, and 4Runners. Plus, the digital gauge has a trans temp gauge, something the analog gauge doesn't have. So when I'm towing, I can keep an eye on things.

When changing out for my AJT knob, the factory one basically fell into my hand with the slightest pull. The AJT, once on, will take mucho force to pull off, as it fit like a glove and needs no reinforcement like the oem.

Yeah, I often wondered, and posted about, what y’all were doing with your radio knobs. Turns out, absolutely nothing is the answer. I only use the knob to turn the radio on and off, and mine broke 2 weeks ago, at 12k miles. I ordered an AJT knob, but it’s on back order and I have to wait another 3 weeks before it’s in. Damn that knob is some of the cheapest sheet I’ve ever seen in a vehicle. Do better Toyota. For a $68k truck, this interior is ass.

My 23 Lim is Analog and it’s fine with the digital info panel in the middle. BUT it doesn’t have Trans Temp like the digital dash and I really needed that. Have to use an external display via OBD Port to read it along with boost and engine oil temp.

This is why Toyota will never compete with the Big 3 in full size truck sales. They need to get their stuff together. I owned F150s prior to my Tundra. And while the Tundra has some nice features, including features not offered on American trucks, they don't offer things the others do. Things that truck owners want. For example, I owned XLT trim level F150s, which is equivalent to an SR5. I didn't have the digital clusters, but I still had a trans temp gauge I could use in the digital center section. If Toyota wants to compete in the full size truck space, they need to pull their collective heads out of their arses. To add to that point, my Tundra shouldn't have a full 500 lbs less payload than an equivalent F150. Plus, my son and I were discussing this earlier, how can Toyota not be competitive in gas mileage compared to the Ford? You can make hybrids and 4 bangers that get stellar mileage all day long, but a V-6 and/or V-8 you make gets way worse mileage. Make it make sense Toyota. I love my Tundra for a few reasons, but I miss my F150's capability in being an actual truck instead of a mall crawler. Toyota's American engineering department needs to go back to truck school.
