Well, after finally getting my truck running after a misfiring issue, I'm now moved onto my next plague. Even before the misfiring issue, while I was out of town for work, my wife and neighbors kept telling me my brake lights were coming on. Randomly. They would come on and go off after a few hours, or even a few days. When I got home, with an obvious dead battery, I jumped it, and drove it around. While driving my throttle would randomly cut out. Let off of the throttle, and press the gas again and it would run fine for a few miles and do it again. Just whenever it felt like it. Then the whole misfiring issue happened and I had to focus on that. When I figured out the ECM was bad, I was hoping the replacement ECM would also solve the brake lights issue. But it didn't. They still come on randomly. And the truck still cuts power on the road randomly. I replaced the brake switch and adjusted it accordingly. Still does it. When it is parked and locked, and they are on, when I hit the unlock button on my keyless fob, they blink like normal and turn off. I check all my connections for my taillights and even replaced them, still the same. I know that the throttle gets cut when it senses the brakes being pressed from what I've read, so I'm assuming they come on while I'm driving, and every once in a while the ABS, VSC, and Traction Control lights come on steady. They turned off after I shut the truck off and started it back up. I'm at a loss of what the issue could be. And recently, at least as far as what I noticed, my interior lights come on randomly. This I don't see as often but it does happen. And a couple times while sitting in my truck, I've heard what sounds like a relay under the driver side dash making a clicking sound. Just clicking randomly. I'm not sure what to look for anymore. Maybe the BCM?
