Had anyone figured out how to improve the antiquated radio use in the new Tundra?

Changing stations from Android Auto screens feels like the first time I tried to take a bra off my girlfriend one handed.

There's gotta be an easier way!

Tell your girlfriend to free-boob it.

I'm not sure I understand what problems you are having with the radio. Perhaps you can elaborate.

What used to be a simple twist of a knob to change stations now requires 2 touches to get out of AA, a touch to enter the Toyota app, a touch to enter the music icon, a touch to on "Source", another to select AM or FM, then multiple touches to go up or down the band...... it's like a bad joke compared to the traditional radio functionality.

They should have moved the USB port somewhere else and put a second knob in its place dedicated to work the radio.

Can't you set your favorite radio stations and use the steering wheel <> buttons to move stations without leaving AA? I'm an Apple CarPlay person, so I've barely used the radio at all, and certainly not with CP/AA enabled.

I completely agree. It is ridiculous how many steps it takes just to view what's on Sirius. While I do have presets, I either have to fidget with my screen or gauge cluster just to see what song is playing due to the android auto takeover.

A little media integration into the screen to work with android auto or carplay would have been great.

Don't get me started on Toyotas live for Apple music and Amazon music. It's entirely too difficult to use something like the USB or Spotify. They chose some very obscure favorites that can't be modified or removed.

I know what you mean. In the morning I listen to talk radio and Spotify the rest of the day. In the morning I would have to get out of Toyota app, click source, click radio. Does seem tedious

I totally agree it is a pain to just change stations. I do a lot of road time and in my old Tacoma I simply pushed the SCAN button to find a station i might like. OH but it is really easy to change if you want (and pay) Sirius radio. I thought I was missing something easy to search, but now see others are having the same issue.

So I'm subscribed to Apple Music and can listen through Carplay. Can I use the Toyota app/native audio to listen to Apple Music? I linked account in the Toyota app on phone but never works through the native Toyota system. Tells me to subscribe.

Just came from a Tacoma, why they added 10 more buttons to the steering wheel and removed the button that would "Skip" or "Scan" is frustrating.

I will say, if you have the 14" screen and they added a second knob way over on the right hand side that wouldn't be super convenient either. I would like to see a button press on the single knob act as a selector for volume and "skip/scan".
