Radio not showing song name?

I just got my dream truck, the Tundra. I was able to get a 2019 SR5 double cab for only 27,000. I just started playing around with the new gadgets and what not but my only concern is that the home screen does not show the song name/artist/picture etc. In my old 2015 Colorado, it only said the name. Now on my home screen it shows just the station it is on and the other panel just shows the weather. Any idea of how to make the home screen show the song name with the artist? Any help is appreciated
P.S the truck is amazing and will never get another one until it pushes its last mile

 

First off, Welcome! Also, Congratulations!

I am not sure on the "home screen" but I think when I had my stock radio in it only showed the song info on a certain screen. Hopefully someone else that still has their stock unit in can help you more.

I believe that the radio station has to broadcast the artist/song info.

 

Yes that's correct. I meant to imply that that could be the OPs issue.
