I upgraded my stereo system and since the install the stock head unit illumination will cycle on and off about every minute. I have tested the wiring and the illumination wire voltage readings tell me the problem. It cycles from 3V to 12 V about every minute. My question is what is sending this voltage? Is there a daytime sensor that could be bad that ties into the radio illumination.
