Quick question about radar cruise for those using the Jomax or AJT TSS relocation. Every now and then when I have radar cruise set, it will slow down when it detects a car in the next lane over. Is that normal?

I've only had it detect cars in other lanes on curvy roads.

I'll play with it some more. I just removed the AJT and installed the Jomax yesterday.

Yes, I saw some of your posts dealing with relocating your sensor. Out of my wheelhouse to help you unfortunately. Only suggestion I would have is if it is the bracket cover you can try experimenting with Kydex or Plexiglass or some similar polymer to fab up an new cover.

The only time I detect other vehicles is when I am on the inside of a curve and there is a vehicle in front of me. I had the brake collision warning trigger once in a similar circumstance; turn off lane stop light was on my left and the curve went right. Truck went ape shit. Not a fan of the radar cruise as it is optimized for maintaining distance and not fuel economy; the safety features are ok certainly better than nothing.
