i don't have experience with those but i do with aerocatch pins from summit on my rc f. just curious why you're looking to add pins on the tundra? i added them to the rc f because of the aftermarket carbon fiber hood which had a very weak latch. if you're going with a cf hood for the tundra can you share a link? now i'm very curious :)

Im actually looking to go for the pins because 1 my after market grille doesnt have the latch and 2 my hood release barely works so the pins would help out in both areas. Where in the engine bay did you mount the hood pin tower things lol?

go for cable, like my friend's mom had on her 70 Boss 429 had....

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Muscle...r-Latch-Racing-Engine-Cable-Lock/283766137812

I used to watch as she pull out of the driveway, my friend (age 10) would tell her, "peel out Mom" and she would oblige. Never saw a car sit still so long while the tires spit fire, literally - then it would launch itself! She would do it over and over, just have gone threw lots of tires....
