    Hello All,

So my father in law has a 5th wheel camper, I have read the forums quite a bit about towing this with a 1/2 ton truck. He does pull this with his 2018 Sierra, and he has no issues he states. Would I be able to pull this camper as well or this over my limit? Again, I will not be towing this, but I am just curious if I would be able to. My rating inside my door jam is 1295 #.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that black line was an attempt to hide the VIN? It's also listed on the second line down on the top yellow sticker....

As to your question, I think it could pull it but the pin/ weight might wipe out your payload in the truck. It's been said many times over but the domestic truck makers boast big numbers on their trucks capabilities but I think it's on the edge of reality. I think after you go through the ass pain of installing a fifth wheel set up and then it being on the high side of the payload it might not be worth it.

Yes, the black line was an attempt to block the vin as it's not my camper. Thanks for the answer as I was just curious if the Tundra would be able to tow it.
