Hi i bought the rc ditch and a oem switch for my 2024 toyota tundra. I saw the 2 installation videos. in one of them it says to connect the blue cable of the light with the green and also the yellow from the switch. In the other one it says to connect the bleu for the lights to the green of the swith and the yellow from the switch to a beige the dummy one

Your diagram is correct; however, if you want the switch backlight to come on with the headlights (and not on all the time), the yellow wire needs to be tied to a beige one on a blank switch.

    Thanks for the answer
I was afraid to make a short.
Also for the connection with the beige, should I use a wire tap connector?
    Thanks

Yes that's what most folks do to avoid cutting the wire.
