Hoping you guys can provide a bit of guidance. I've got a 24 gen 3 basic 4x4 SR5. No offroad package, so I've got the black axles. I have the silver extended ones on backorder, but am being told it's going to be at least 3 months until they both come in, apprently the left one is on national backorder.

I'm going to lift 2.5" in the front and 1" in the back. My kit is:

    - extended brake lines
    - JBA UCAs
    -Eibach Stage 2R kit

My question is 2 part. I have my suspension parts, less the axles, plus new rims and 35" tires, all ready to go. I'm going to have a shop do the work. Does changing out the CVs, say 4 months from now, present a big waste of labor expense, or is it negligible doing that separate from the installation of everything else?

The second part, do you guys think I'm risking blowing a CV, with the lift angle on the 2.5" lift, or should it be fine for 4 months or so? I most likely wont be using 4WD at all in the mean time, but I do drive about 1500 miles a month, mostly highway. My FJ does all my off road adventuring and weekend fun, my truck is a pavement princess.
