I am getting ready to order Coachbuilder rear shackles. I am thinking +2 for 1.25 in lift. My rear end is still stock. Have a set of Icons C/O on front with truck basically leveled, a little rake. Not sure if I can get the lift I want without too much lifting on coilovers. Any issues using .50 shims on the coilovers, like rougher ride or bad for truck. I know alot of people say no to front end spacers for lift, so not sure about shims. Thanks in advance!

Shims are fine. The spacers people refer to are the larger ones, typically 1-1.5" tall. Im sure you have plenty of room with the Icons though. Adjusting it up to lift another 1/2" only takes about 1/4" on the coilovers themselves. Probably easier than pulling them to put a shim in.

In theory it would ride better with the shims than adding more preload to the coil over
