I've had in channel vent visors on all of my previous vehicles with no issues. I picked up a set of AVS in channels this weekend and they're not playing well with the obstruction safety feature on my Tundra. I let them sit for well beyond the recommended 24 hour period before rolling down the windows and still no luck.

Anyone else experience this or have a fix/work around?

Obstruction safety feature? I just put them on 3 weeks ago and didn't have any issues.

Yeah, there's a feature built in that if an obstruction is detected when the window is rolling up, like a finger, it will automatically roll back down. I think it was included on 2018+.

With my new visors, it's sensing an obstruction when it gets to the top and rolls back down.

Hmmm.... I'm not sure if my SR5 has this option. I wonder if you can turn it off.

Do you have the auto up and down?

Update - got it figured out. I have auto up and down (Platinum) and apparently you can adjust the window closing parameters by doing a sequence of events with the window buttons.

Note for anyone else in the future, you have to do it separately on each door. You can't adjust the parameters of the passenger window from the driver's side window controls.
