I tried, and failed, to strip the chrome and paint my steel chrome bumper endcaps.
I decided to go with the abs plastic endcaps and have them color-matched.
I tried reaching out to @Roman, but haven't heard back yet. I'm sure he's got a lot on his plate.
He mentions in his parts post that the endcaps should be ordered with seal extensions (about $14 each) and plastic fog light clips (couple bucks each). Do I absolutely need these additional parts? Why can't I use the seal extension (?) and fog light clips I removed from my chrome endcaps?
My only thought is that: the chrome endcaps don't come with the seals and the clips that hold the fog lights are different on the steel vs plastic endcaps.
    Any thoughts?
