Anyone know how to properly remove these things so as not to destroy them? I want to be able to reuse them and, so far, I've been unsuccessful. I don't want to just pry them out and risk breaking or deforming them. PXL_20250911_233318876.jpg

I believe you just gently pry the head up and that pulls the rivet in enough that the legs can then squeeze together and the whole riven can then slide out. To put it back, have the head up, squeeze the legs together and insert the rivet, then press the head back flush until it pops in place.

There is no movable part I can tell on the head....it appears to be all one piece. I can't find a picture of this style online anywhere to see how they work.

Right. Just gently pry the whole head up.

Just be gentle. That is how the Toyota push pins I have used work. But I am not sure exactly which this one is.

I have plenty of those tools. I've just never seen this style of pin before and didn't know if it had any movable parts that needed to be "unlocked" first.

What panel is this? Did you get the pin out?

Haven't tried yet. It's inside the rear fender well.

Found an image of them finally....yep, it's just friction-fit and pulls out by force. Thanks guys.

    None at this point.
Just buy a bag of replacements.
    They're cheap.
Seems like you always break at least one when you mess with them.
