Anybody have thoughts on pulling off the tow hooks and putting a bull/push bar on our Tundras. Is it an ‘80’s thing to do?
They don’t really serve a purpose except aesthetics.

    Anyone?

I’ve got one installed on my 2nd Gen, mostly to just mount my LED light bar.

I don’t mind the look, but will eventually swap it out for an off road bumper with winch. That’s why I bought a used bull bar for the time being.

IMO full width bumper or nothing. I can't stand bull bars. There seem to be a few different hidden light mounts for tundras if you need a light bar.

Very nice, but I can’t justify doing that in front & behind. Honestly, if I took it off road I’d probably go that route.
    Thx!

The only good one I ever saw was made out of square tube on the diagonal by the Spyder headache rack company. Truly a stout no nonsense bull bar. Most others are so flimsy they will bend if you hit a dog. I would just go to a custom welder/fabricator and get one made or DIY one if it were me. Screenshot_2022-02-07-20-04-10.jpg
