Not too happy with the offers I am getting on the 2019’s. Nothing like buying a domestic. I did find a 2018 with 11k miles for a seemingly good price but I have yet to inspect it. What were your experiences? Am I being to much of a tight wad? Response from one dealer when I asked why I could not have 0.9% financing and discounted price.
    Quote:
The rebate vs APR is a benefit from Toyota ( “a benefit”, yeah right) and it's on their terms. (No, I am spending the money, so I make the rules) The discount I provided was also about $4,200. off MSRP, plus the rebate if you decide to take that. You can ask on the forum and they will confirm it's true.
    (Parenthesis) are my thoughts.

Funny, I went to another dealer and they offered both a discount and the low interest rate. Waiting for the second dealer to resend off since I trashed the text.

    Any feedback is appreciated...

I had the same issues when I was shopping for a truck (originally wanted an F-150). The actual bottom line never changed; dealer just rearranged the numbers above the line. The "discount" disappears if you don't take the financing. I'd have bought used if the numbers were right but unfortunately (if you're the buyer) the Tundra's don't depreciate much so new ended up being the better option for me at that time.

    Good luck.

What part of SoCal are you located? I’ve purchased my last 3 vehicles at Longo. They have always treated me right and I will continue to buy from them. I’ve been to a bunch of other dealers around SoCal and have gotten nothing but the typical dealership run around for both service and sales.

Toyota typically does not come off much from MSRP, compared to the other manufacturers. I got about 4 grand off of MSRP on my ‘18 SR5 along with some added aftermarket items added.
However when looking at Ford and Chevy their MSRPs were much higher for the similar truck but they were coming off 10 or 15 grand of their MSRP.

My new baby. 4x4 Sport. Came with sprayed in bed liner which I normally have done post purchase. The Toyota plastic floor covers. Nice!
Time to start thinking of "needed" mods. No lifts for this guy. Well maybe a bit of a level.
I have purchased close to twenty new cars in my life. I have to admit, Redlands Toyota was the smoothest transition I have ever experienced.

Nice!! The thing to remember about Tundras is compare equally equipped models of the other brands to the Tundra's MSRP and you'll see the others are way over inflated. That's why they can knock $10k off sticker and Toyota not so much but in the end they're all bought at or about the same price.

Congrats! I just went through the same ordeal buying my '18 dc o/r. They would discount the truck with horrible financing or better financing and sticker on the truck. I told one sales guy that I bought my o/r Tacoma for 26k otd, (9 years ago it's a 2010) and he got mad at me and called me a liar. I walked out. Anyway, I got my own financing and took to ye old interwebs. I got a great deal on my truck in Cincinnati. I am from Floriduh. Got a 50$ one way ticket on good ole spirit and the sales guy picked me up from the airport. I was in and out in a little over an hour and drove home.
