Wow. I now understand how Lunar Rock and Cement get lumped together and confuse folks because they are very close cousins on the color spectrum! Either way these are still the best looking trucks on the road and the best looking Tundras on the road - sorry I’m biased and while some of the ‘22s do look good with modifications I think the ‘14-‘21 re-design trucks still reign supreme…

 

FYI; everyone here is biased to the color they have, White is not the fastest color, it just has the least pigment.

 

But the dealer TOLD me that white is the fastest

 

I think cement might be my favorite. It wasn’t available when I got my Tacoma and got my tundra from my dad on a deal too good to pass up.

maybe by some luck in the universe my lady will get a cement 4Runner

Lunar Rock is for bland babes.
Mgm is for the masses. Aka "basic"
White is for the blue collar contractor
Black is for our glutton's of punishment.
Green is only good looking on odd numbered days.
Baby blue is for those who pick ugly to be "different".
Dark Blue is for those with soul.
Inferno is for the rebels
Bronze is for those who like it "extra" if ya know what I mean.
Quicksand is for our military guys that wear their boots even in civilian attire.

Red is for winners.


You were half right though. 3rd gen (2022 model) is a hideous and problematic dissapointment of a truck.

Yea. I saw what I think was Barcelona Red on an SR5 (had to be fairly new maybe even a ‘21) and it looked striking - made me take a double take for sure. My son had a ‘17 Inferno Red and lots of people commented on it so you may be on to something with the Red color!!

 

What about Sunset Bronze Mica?

 

All of them look good until you pull up next to a Black one....Just saying

Black & Blue remind me of bruises...and they don't look good after a dirt road which is pretty common where I travel. If I didn't have to consider traveling on dirt roads and my truck was a driveway queen....then I might go with a little darker color but Silver Sky Metallic checks a lot of boxes for my uses. Red is definitely a favorite color and Tundra's look good dressed in red.

 

White is not only the fastest color, it is also the stealthiest. (At least in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana where you blend in with thousands of other oilfield-related trucks.) Add a Ranch Hand bumper and you're practically invisible.

I got MGM. I dig it but if i did it over again id probably go with the barcelona red
