    Literally, not figuratively!

I just got my 2021 Tundra delivered July 31st and my son begged me to take it down to Los Angeles this last weekend. We were having a father/son weekend and getting a hotel room and going to the Dodger/Angel Freeway series. I was going to take the old Silverado but didn't want to disappoint my 7 year old so I agreed.

But, I was worried about Cat theft after seeing all that's been going on. I had ordered Valhalla's plate but that's another month away.

So, I was trying to figure out what else I could do on short notice.

My thinking is if I couldn't prevent them from cutting off the Cat maybe I could dissuade them from going under the truck. So, I thought of a few things....

First, I thought what if poured some oil or pissed on the ground under the truck but thought the better of that. Second, what if I put some dog poop under the truck but didn't want to cart around dog poop. Next, I considered broken beer bottles/glass but then I'd have to clean it up..

Finally, I figured a couple of rubbers thrown under the truck right where you'd have to lay down to cut the Cats would be the best option. (They'd keep my away!!!) Fortunately, I still had some from like 10 years ago! The trickiest part was doing it so my son didn't see...I wasn't ready for THAT talk yet! :D And, yes, I picked them up in the morning. They were clean, afterall!

Did they really work? No idea but I still have my Cats!!!

So, keep some Trojans in the glove compartment...you never know when you're gonna be desparate for protection!!!

Yup, I see where this is going...

Honey, why in the hell do you have condoms in your truck when we don't use them

Well you see it's to keep the cats under my truck.

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
As long as she doesn't find any horsey sauce packets from Arby's for "realism". Funny shit. Doubt it would work though, scumbags that'd steal cats would probably use them for chewing gum.

I think the poop idea would definitely work.

While the ideas are (almost) all great I don't think the cat stealing scumbags will care about any of that. They are so low down the line that I don't think condoms or urine will really deter them. Sad to even have to say that. Dog poop might be the only one that has a chance.

It would have been funny if the cats were gone and you found the condoms wrapped around the exhaust as some kind of noise/heat reduction insulator while cutting the cats out.

Sorry OP, that would not have been funny for you, but maybe some of the rest of us.
