I have a sport grill currently with my sensor behind the logo emblem. Looking to swap out for an OEM 2019+ Pro Grille. Will I need the TSS recalibrated? It’s an easy swap but I don’t want it to turn into a sh!tshow where I end up at the dealer..which seems to be my luck lately.

Anyone have issues or smooth sailing with your grille swaps?

Very easy process. You will just have to undue some clips/wiring/hardware for the TSS systems and transfer onto pro-grille assembly. I remember there was one tricky clip on the backside of the Toyota emblem radar cover that requires some patience but besides that smooth sailing!

Be gentle when swapping over. Buy OEM pro grill to avoid unnecessary problems. (You do not want to go through the shit show I had to go through) Should not have any issues at all. Follow guides and be patient.

Appreciate it. Yeah I watched a video and it’s plenty easy. But then I read a couple comments on recalibration..and I don’t want to deal with that. Appreciate the info.

No need to recalibrate. Buy all OEM parts (garnish exception if you want to gamble) and dont lift the truck more than 4-5" to be safe. Report back if any issues. I have gone through every issue possible :p

Keep driving around and it should eventually calibrate.

When I did mine the emblem did not match up to the new grill and I needed a different one that fit properly.

Where did y’all purchase the grill from?
I seen them around Amazon or other websites but did not have the sensor.
This would look great on my truck

I’m going to be doing the EXACT same swap on my 6V7 Limited soon. Do you have part numbers for what you ordered?
