A colleague/friend is looking at selling his 1st generation Tundra and stepping into a newer one. Right now, he is looking at a 2019 (wanted Blue Ribbon Metallic in 2014/2015, but can't find one)

    He is being offered a

    2019 Limited CrewMax
    MGM and black
    TRD, 18" TRD Wheels
    Moonroof
    Running boards

With a MSRP of $50,110, their offer is $43,804 (which included a $1k rebate)

    12.6% off MSRP

The 2018 they offered did not include a moonroof and that was a deal breaker (and I concur)

As far as I am concerned, that's a good deal.

That is a good deal. Especially when you consider how they hold their value. We just bought our Tundra 3 weeks ago.

2018 Tundra 1794 crewmax with Trd package, moonroof, front skid plate in mesquite brown.
    Msrp: $52,790
    Paid :$46,000 after 3000 rebate.

I've got a 2015 blue ribbon platinum with 33k miles and several very nice upgrades. And well everything has it's "for sale" price. Plus I'm in New England....I love this truck so he's really gotta want it lol

I was just searching and blue ribbon is very rare here in New England, I have only seen one other personally and oddly enough it was also a platinum.
I just found a 2018 silver platinum that I'd jump all over if your buddy is willing to pay above KBB for mine as is (like $41k) or full KBB ($38k) if I pull some aftermarket parts off. I doubt he wants blue that bad though

You can do really well on 2018s. I got almost 10 grand off sticker out the door on my 2018 in mid August.

In fact at this point 2018s have been sitting for quite some time and dealers are paying lot rot taxes on them. You could grind their balls off for any 2018 if you know how to beat em' up.

Tundra overall is slow selling due to the other 1/2 tons in their class offering better features in almost every category....except maybe Reliability? :D

2019s will be slow selling too. Nothing substantial changed from 2018. Go get em fellas!!!

I bought my limited crewmax 4wd brand new in 2014. I paid around $43k.
    Heated seats
    Moon roof
    18” wheels
    Etc.

    That’s a good deal.

I wonder if it's the same issue in Canada. I'm going to test drive a tundra today. I'll unleash the ball busting this week. There are 3 dealerships in my area loaded with tundras. Manufacturer rebate is at 8k. How much more is possible to get off?

Sorry for the hijack guys! :(
